Netflix has handed out a bumper batch of renewals to some of its UK favourites, led by ‘The Gentlemen‘, which will return for a third season before Season 2 has even arrived this September.
The streamer has also confirmed new seasons of ‘Legends‘, ‘House of Guinness‘, ‘Being Gordon Ramsay’ and ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’, while also highlighting a number of previously announced UK renewals, including ‘Love Is Blind: UK’, ‘At Home With The Furys’, ‘Black Mirror‘, ‘Supacell‘ and ‘Black Doves‘.
“Our audiences loved these shows, so it is such a delight to bring them back. To revisit the Guinness family, cook with the Ramsays, go undercover with the Legends and be At Home With The Furys. A huge thank you to the brilliant producers, actors, writers, directors and crew behind these shows and all of our returners on Netflix – it’s an utter privilege to host these gems,” said Anne Mensah, Vice President, UK Content.
The headline renewal is ‘The Gentlemen’, with Netflix officially confirming Season 3 of Guy Ritchie’s crime drama. Ritchie will once again direct, and the announcement arrives alongside the full trailer for Season 2, which lands on Netflix in September.
“The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded, and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further,” said Ritchie.
Neil Forsyth’s undercover customs thriller ‘Legends’ will also return for Season 2, with production due to begin in 2027. The drama follows a group of HM Customs officers working undercover in the late 1990s, with the new season set to tell another story from that dangerous and unusual world.
Steven Knight’s ‘House of Guinness’ has also secured a second season, continuing the story of the Guinness family as they wrestle with ambition, intrigue and forbidden love in 19th-century Dublin. Production on Season 2 is due to begin in early 2027.
On the unscripted side, ‘Being Gordon Ramsay’ will return for a second season, once again following Ramsay as he juggles his restaurant empire, expanding business ventures and family life.
Motorsport fans can also look forward to ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ Season 9, which will follow the drama of the 2026 Formula 1 grid, with the producers promising to go deeper into the hidden spaces of the sport.
The new announcements join a healthy pile of UK shows Netflix had already confirmed would be coming back.
‘Love Is Blind: UK’ has been renewed for Season 4 ahead of the launch of Season 3 later this summer, with Matt and Emma Willis returning as hosts and another batch of hopeful singles preparing to discover whether love really is blind.
‘At Home With The Furys’ is currently in production on Season 3, following the Fury family’s move to the Isle of Man, Venezuela’s marriage to Noah Price, and the usual mixture of family warmth, humour and unpredictability.
Charlie Brooker’s ‘Black Mirror’ began production on Season 8 this summer, while Rapman’s BAFTA-winning ‘Supacell’ has now wrapped filming on Season 2, although Netflix has yet to announce when it will launch.
Joe Barton’s spy thriller ‘Black Doves’ is also set to return with Season 2 later this year.
Netflix is also continuing ‘The Rest Is Football’ for the 2026/27 Premier League season, with Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards returning for episodes every Monday and Friday, plus a new Netflix-exclusive Sunday evening show looking back at the biggest story of the weekend.
So, between aristocratic gangsters, undercover customs officers, dysfunctional dynasties, superheroes, spies, football and Gordon Ramsay shouting at things, Netflix’s UK slate is looking pretty busy for the foreseeable future.
