Fourth animated Wimpy Kid film for Disney+, following the 2025 release of The Last Straw, the film is produced by 20th Century Animation, with author Jeff Kinney returning to write and produce, and Matt Danner directing the story of the Heffleys’ disastrous tropical vacation. Based on the 12th book, the story follows the Heffley family escaping Christmas to a tropical resort, only to encounter sunburn, stomach bugs, and pests.
