New drama remake based on the 1987 CBS show of the same name, which was inspired by the famous fantasy tale… Beauty in this version is Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk with ”The Beast’ (a definition which has apparently changed somewhat since the original…) played by Jay Ryan (Terra Nova).

Incredibly, and against all odds, again, it got a renewal for a 4th season (the last though)… clearly someone in BatB’s production team has dirt on The CW… 😉

please can I buy season 2 part2 of Beauty and the Beast which was shown in the UK . It first aired on October 7th. 2014
It normally takes longer than that between broadcast and dvd release. My guess is that it will appear about March, the same as season 1

Glad part 2is back October but when will season two be out on DVD need to know for Xmas presents does anyone know please also so glad we got season thereto look forward to can’t wait for vincent and cat or should I say jay and kristin love them together at least she is his age unless he likes being a toy boy
I found that really difficult to follow. I wouldn’t count on the R2 DVD being out by Christmas. Season 1 only came out in March. Season 2’s finale is later- the R1 came out in October last year but doesn’t even have a release date yet this time.
Is there still on return date for this? Its been off ages and there is not that many episodes left in the series anyway. They did this with Sleepy Hollow to. I find it just kills the series u can hardly remember what is going on. I just wonder why TV stations do this?

Well in that case its nice to know ratings don’t always have last say. To many good TV shows are ended before there time. Just hope more people start enjoying this show.

Well still no air dat for beauty and the beast season two that is not fair the us are half way through season two and e in their usually get it just after Xmas so us uk beasties are getting fed up of waiting please tell us what is the delay and give us an air date PLEASE
It is a US programme. That is why it is broadcast in the US first.

I am from the USA and can’t fathom the negativity of supposed loyal fans. We need to be patient and re-connect with our inner beauty for the #1 show on the CW. hi in the very first series of batb. that would have been in the 1980`s. linda hamilton aka catharine was pregnant and had her child taken from her and she died. but would not wish the new cat to die in the newer version of the series. but could be a story line there and so wished they would hurry with series 3. as watched every episode in series 2, now gone back to watching older series as loved the older version as i was a teen back then, now a mom 0f 5 my children have watch both tv series and also cant wait for the next chapter.
