‘Blue Murder Motel’ follows married Australian police detectives Vinny and Cole, played by Michala Banas (McLeod’s Daughters, Halifax: Retribution) and Brett Tucker (The Residence, Station 19, The Americans), who leave their policing careers behind to run a charming 13-room motel in the sunny New Zealand beachside town of Mōwai Bay. Their peaceful retirement does not last long when a dead body is discovered in Unit 3. Soon, the pair are helping inexperienced local constable Jamie, played by Jayden Daniels, solve the case, followed by a new murder each week.
