Picking up after the events of the blockbuster 2018 film, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ returns to the extravagant world of Singapore’s wealthiest families, where romance, family expectations and enormous fortunes rarely make for a quiet life.
Constance Wu and Henry Golding reprise their roles as Rachel Chu and Nick Young, alongside Ronny Chieng as Eddie Cheng and Michelle Yeoh as the formidable Eleanor Young.
Based on Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novels, the eight-episode HBO series continues the story of the original film, with co-writer Adele Lim returning as showrunner and director Jon M. Chu among the executive producers.
