When will the finale, CSI: Immortality, be reshown in the UK? Missed it first time on Channel 5 as wasn’t expecting it and didn’t see and ads.

Have uk viewing figures fallen, because C5 have shunted it out to 10pm on a saturday, it’s been tuesday at 9 forever
Is it still getting US backing?
I will watch it as long as it airs whatever happens, but i don’t want to see it die a slow death, just cut it clean rather than let it roll downhill

Not sure on the C5 viewing figures, but it’s looking increasingly like it might not get a renewal in the US. If that is the case, it would be nice if they gave it a decent ending.

Cheers
Dave

Is it just me or has the current season of CSI:Crime Scene Investigation only run for a short period and also has it been cancelled as the last episodes title has thrown me a bit “The Last Days of Jim Brass” sounds ominous and does not bode well, can someone enlighten me please?

Hi Clive,

No, it’s not cancelled (least not yet anyway). There is a season 15 coming, which has started in the US. This season aired the full 22 eps, however, next season has a shorter order of 18 episodes. CBS are saying that’s due to scheduling, not ratings…

“The Last Days of Jim Brass” i think was channel 5 trying to beef up the final episode, and the fact it was Paul Guilfoyle’s last as Jim Brass (at least as a series regular anyway). I can’t see any reference to it being called that in the US. The episode was actually called ‘Dead In His Tracks’. Weird ending though… Considering Brass has been there from the start, you would have thought they’d make more of his final episode.

Cheers,
Dave

About time, season 14 has already finished in the US and we’re 3 months behind when compared to last year.

looking at the TV schedules, CSI 14 should be with us in 2 weeks time.

Not sure of the day and date yet.

Channel 5 are rather slow at showing season 14. We should already be watching it, but at this rate we will be nearly or be 1 year behind the US.

That’s only because of the loss of the other two CSIs and therefore fewer of them to spread across the schedules

Just got back from the states and here in the UK we are Sooooooooo far behind. This is so unfair and they moan and winge when people download stuff.

Done a bit of checking, and it looks like CSI is still with 5, but it’s moved to the Summer.

It will be back “later in the year”. Bear in mind that applies equally to March as it does to November
