Dracula UK & US TV Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

The 10-episode series introduces Dracula as he arrives in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. In reality, he hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. There’s only one circumstance that can potentially thwart his plan: Dracula falls hopelessly in love with a woman who seems to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.

Based on a script by co-executive producer Cole Haddon, “Dracula” will be executive-produced by former president of HBO Films and Emmy winner Colin Callender (“The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby”) for Playground, Tony Krantz (“24”, “Sports Night”) for Flame Ventures, Gareth Neame (“Downton Abbey”) for Carnival Films & Television (part of NBCUniversal International Television Production), Anne Mensah for Sky, and Universal Television. Reece Pearson from Flame Ventures is also co-executive producer.

Showrunner is Dan Knauf, the man behind HBO’s wonderfully weird Carnivàle.

I am looking very forward to Season 2. Dracula & Mina compliment each other with the passion they show in their roles. They make their reunion & falling in love appear to be very real; that is great acting. The other actors act & fit their roles so well. I love the clothes & furniture of the Victorian era; makes Dracula very romantic. I am tired & bored with the usual shows. I am addicted to Dracula, so are so many more men & women.

Mr. Renfield is wonderful. Dracula & Renfied are definitely a good match. Mr. Renfield can’t die from the knife wound; what would Dracula do without his trusted friend? Hope you find a cure for Dracula’s aversion to sunlight, so he & Mina can have a happy ending. Please continue with many seasons of Dracula, so romantic & exciting. I really look forward to each & every episode; & the anticipation to watch a new episode each Friday, is letting you know that I & the fans are serious when we say “WE LOVE DRACULA, PLEASE DON’T CANCEL, RENEW WITH MANY MORE SEASONS”. Please listen to your fans, you will be blessed with success. Thank you for listening, I am a try romantic,

not only is Jonathan Ryhs-Meyers a fantastic actor, he makes you “feel” the character, as with “henry VIII” in THE TUDOR, I am now in love with DRACULA …is JRM fault, lol……seriously, we NEED MORE OF THIS DRAMA, FANTASTIC VIEWING. love it !!!!

I really hope they will renew the series, it is one of the very few watch worthy things on tv at the moment! Mr Meyer’s acting is outstanding, and the rest of the cast are great- an attractive and addictive show

You don’t find Mr Meyers’ acting remarkably similar to Mr Meyers’ other roles?

A beautifully shot, well acted drama that deserves a chance. Me, I’d move it to Sky One and start repeating catch-up episodes. Dracula is far better than expected. Please keep.

Sadly, Sky Living don’t place a lot of faith in shows like this. Case example – ‘Teen Woolf’ which I’m happy to report is going to be renewed for a FOURTH SEASON!!!!
