Set in the lands of Westeros and Essos several noble families battle, backstab, and bleed to leverage influence and gain power.

From season 6 onwards, the tv series is ahead of the published books. The premiere is usually simulcast at 2am UK time with the US East Coast, then repeated in the evening followed by ‘Thronecast’. Like seasons 7, season 8 will have fewer episodes, although they are said to all be longer.
