This show is actually about a policewoman whose child was thought to have been kidnapped some years ago in her home town in northern Sweden. She returns after some years, after a badly handled hostage negotiation where she nearly died, to bury her father who’d apparently committed suicide. While in her hometown, another child goes missing and she gets suspicious, as the circumstances are just too similar to when her own daughter disappeared. The police is investigating the disappearance, but the local police has to bring in outside help and the policewoman ends up being part of this team. Strange things start to happen in the town the people start to wonder what is really going on….
