Mr. Sloane UK & US TV Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

Nick Frost (The World’s End) stars in a bittersweet romantic comedy created by Robert B Weide (Curb Your Enthusiasm). In the late 1960s, Jeremy Sloane (Frost) is a man in crisis. With a failed marriage to Janet (Olivia Colman, Broadchurch) haunting him and his career grinding to a halt, life is looking pretty bleak. But when a chance encounter introduces him to the free-spirited Robin (Ophelia Lovibond, Inside No. 9) and an inspiring new job beckons, there might be room for a little bit of optimism after all. Supporting Mr Sloane throughout are childhood friends Ross (Peter Serafinowicz, The Peter Serafinowicz Show), Beans (Lawry Lewin, Horrible Histories) and Reggie (Brendan Patricks, Downton Abbey)

Darn straight it was a UK show (albeit with an American creator). Shame it was cancelled.

Why are you axing a really good comedy show? Something that was a natural funny program, why not stop paying yourselves so much and give us programs that we the paying public want.A disgruntled licence payer
