‘Rally’ is a young adult drama from Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries, We Were Liars), set in the fiercely competitive world of elite junior tennis.
At a prestigious tennis academy, a group of ambitious young players are determined to become the next generation of sporting superstars. But as they push themselves towards professional careers, they discover that success comes at a price. Friendships, romances and rivalries collide as they struggle to balance their personal lives with the relentless demands of a sport where winning is everything.
Inspired by the real-life experiences of young players training at elite tennis academies, the series explores the sacrifices required to reach the top and whether achieving your dreams is worth losing the people who matter most.
Written and executive produced by Julie Plec, ‘Rally’ also counts eight-time Grand Slam singles champion Andre Agassi among its executive producers, bringing an authentic perspective to the pressures of professional tennis.
The series is produced by Universal Television, Entertainment 360 and Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video.
