Rewarding UK & US TV Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

‘Rewarding’ is a six-part Northern Irish comedy starring Vittorio Angelone and Hannah McClean as Francis and Sinead, two support workers trying to do their best for their clients, even if they don’t always get along themselves.

Sinead is an enthusiastic newcomer bursting with positivity and idealism, while experienced care worker Francis takes a rather more cynical and pragmatic approach to the job. As their contrasting personalities collide, the pair navigate the everyday challenges, frustrations and unexpected moments of working in social care.

Featuring disabled, neurodivergent and learning disabled performers in key roles, the series draws on lived experience to bring authenticity and humour to a world rarely explored in television comedy.

The supporting cast includes Bernadette Brown (Say Nothing), Joanne Crawford (Blue Lights), Fáolan Morgan (Hope Street), Faith Alabi (Industry), Lee Snodgrass and John Moffat.
