From the producers of ‘Blue Lights’ comes ‘The Galway Bay Murders’, a six-part crime thriller starring Kate Mulgrew (‘Star Trek: Voyager’) and Colm Meaney (‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’).
Seasoned NYPD detective Nora Savage (Mulgrew) arrives in Connemara on Ireland’s rugged west coast, hoping to escape a traumatic past and enjoy a quieter life. Unfortunately, her plans are interrupted when the body of a young woman is discovered in a bog.
Working alongside the local Garda team, Nora begins an investigation that leads to Free Farm, an ambitious organisation combining sustainable farming with scientific research. But behind its seemingly idyllic exterior lies a web of secrets, conflicting loyalties and dangerous motives.
Blending murder mystery, dark humour and spectacular Irish scenery, the drama also stars John Connors, India Mullen, Cillian O’Sullivan and Jack Rowan.
Created and written by Eithne Verling, the series is produced by Two Cities Television, Keeper Pictures and AS I AM Productions.
