This US remake of the outstanding Danish ‘Forbrydelsen’ was cancelled by AMC (it’s US network) after 2 seasons, but got a last minute reprieve when a deal was reached between production company Fox and AMC.
Airs in the US on AMC on the 2nd of June, and just one day later (3rd June!) on Netflix in the UK & Ireland. This is the first time Netflix have ‘aired’ a show by adding episodes each week, rather than making the entire series available in one go. Seasons 1 & 2 are already available in their entirety on Netflix.
Season 3 is set 1 year after season 1 & 2’s Rosie Larsen case. Linden no longer a detective, but is pulled in to help out her ex-partner Holder as his search for a runaway girl leads him to discover a gruesome string of murders that connects to a previous murder investigation by Linden…

I really enjoyed season 1&2 of the killing. But last week I found season 3&4 on Netflix. Well…..I was blown away! It was fantastic, so much better than the Rosie Larson story! Absolutely brilliant!!
So is there a C4 date for when season three will air on terrestrial tv?

Its first run is on Netflix. If/when second run rights are sold, it could well be on a broadcast channel.

We loved Season 1 of the The Killing (US) but missed Season 2 airing on Channel 4, any idea if it’ll get shown again, say on NETFLIX or indeed when it might arrived on region 2 DVD?
