Based upon Lev Grossman’s best-selling books, “The Magicians” stars Jason Ralph (“A Most Violent Year,” “Aquarius”) as Quentin Coldwater, a brilliant grad student who enrolls in Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, a secret upstate New York university specializing in magic. He and his 20-something friends soon discover that the magical fantasy world they read about as children is all too real – and poses grave danger to humanity. Stella Maeve (“Chicago P.D.”), Hale Appleman (“Teeth”), Arjun Gupta (“Nurse Jackie”) and Summer Bishil (“Towelhead,” “Lucky 7”) also star in this one hour drama.

Looks like Amazon Prime has added season 4! Will never watch Channel 5 (5Star) again. They did the same with Gotham. They seem to lose interest after a couple of seasons and you never see it again.
I agree entirely. TV has totally fragmented and the broadcasters themselves are complicit.

I’m certain that’s a bootleg or mislabelled region 1 dvd. The show cannot be bought officially in the UK on any site I’ve looked at, and I’ve looked at a lot. Makes me think 5star does still have the rights, they just can’t be bothered to use them.
I don’t think 5Star are going to show season 4. Look at previous seasons here in the UK.
