Depends on what system you have. If you watch on a Samsung TV (through their My5 app) or Sky catch-up services, it’s in HD. :) The broadcast itself though is in SD, as the channel is in SD.

Very pleased to see this will be airing pretty much in line with the US.

No idea at the moment. It’s not aired in the US yet, or even has a US air date.

Hey Rachel, Season 2 begins in October on Spike in the US, a new trailer was released a few days ago. I’m not sure when it will shown in the UK though. With the way Channel 5 have been handling their US acquisitions, it may not be any time soon, but here’s hoping I’m wrong about that.

Well the screen writers have jettisoned most of the book so far, to its total detriment I may add, but I cannot imagine Brooks has sold out to the extent that he allows a completely different ending, but you never know. Anyway its utter garbage what has been delivered so far; basically it’s as if they have visually skimmed over his series of books and compressed them all on too one page; not only that these books were written in the manner that adults would appreciate and they have reduced them to the I.Q level that only pre-adolescent girls would enjoy. Sorry but I don’t understand how Banks could disrespect his massive audience/followers (he has sold a mega amount of books) in such away, not unless he was total naive about what they intended the outcome would be, this should have been on a par with Game of Thrones.

Books are always better but due to guidelines and restraints the tv series it is not bad. Ok it doesn’t have the detail and brilliance of our imagination but for those who don’t know it’s good. Ffs look at the hobbit. How would u put such wonder in a tv series

Also game of thrones read it again still better than the tv series lol

Also naive a person showing lack of wisdom or judgment. You surely mean foresight as you said he’s composed so many books he can’t be that way. He would have been involved all the way through the production of the tv series.

There is now a date for this – came up this morning. Thursday 25 February 2016.

However, there is no time for it yet.
