The X-Files (Reboot) UK & US TV Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

From Sinners and Black Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler comes a new reimagining of the iconic sci-fi series ‘The X-Files’.

Two highly decorated but vastly different FBI agents, played by Danielle Deadwyler (The Piano Lesson, Station Eleven) and Himesh Patel (EastEnders, Yesterday), form an unlikely bond when they’re assigned to a long-shuttered FBI division devoted to investigating unexplained phenomena.

Written and directed by Coogler, who also serves as executive producer, the pilot launches a fresh chapter in the franchise originally created by Chris Carter. Jennifer Yale serves as showrunner, with Carter also returning as an executive producer.

The truth is still out there, and a new generation of agents is about to discover just how strange it can get.
