He’s also revealed who won’t be appearing… And that’s the Riddler. It’s not much, but it should at least quash all those Riddler rumours that have been flying around. All he has said is “We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones”. Also that he isn’t planning on revealing who the main villian will be till 2012.
The other villian the LA Times reporter managed to get him to rule out is Mr Freeze, although that’s no great shock, as Freeze really doesn’t fit into Nolan’s gritty gangland Batman world.
So, who would fit into that world? I’d love to see Hush, or the wonderfully twisted Black Mask up on screen. Neither are particularly well know out side of the comic book community though. Penguin is the other obvious choice that could be worked into that world.
