Burn Notice Renewed a 7th Season!

by Dave Elliott

Fans of Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) will be extremely happy to hear that USA Network has picked up Burn Notice for a 7th season. This run will be shorter at 13th episodes, but it means the show will reach the 100th episode mark. Only the 3rd show in USA Network’s history to do so.

USA Network Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel are quoted as saying “Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age. Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio.”

Fast-paced spy thriller Burn Notice follows the formerly black-listed spy Michael Westen, currently working under-the-radar with the CIA on special projects. Michael’s eclectic team includes ex-IRA operative and girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), washed up former Navy Seal Sam (Bruce Campbell), and ex-counter-intelligence agent Jesse (Coby Bell).

Burn Notice Season 6 will air on FXUK in 2013.
