After the quality and genius of Daredevil, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for news of the next show in Marvel’s 5 show deal with Netflix. We now have an air date for Jessica Jones and it’s the 20th November 2015.
The show stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, an ex-hero who starts the ‘Alias Investigations’ detective agency after suffering from PTSD due to her superhero career. It’s been developed by Twilight & Dexter scribe Melissa Rosenberg, and tv & comic book legend Jeph Loeb is exec producing.
Jessica Jones sees ex-Doctor David Tennant as Kilgrave, a person from Jones’s past who returns to shake up her life, Mike Colter makes his first appearance as Luke Cage, before continuing in his own series next year, and Rosario Dawson will reprise her role from Daredevil as Claire Temple, the nurse from Hells Kitchen.
