SyFy UK set an air date for the final season of Lost Girl

by Dave Elliott

The show about the sexy succubus with a soul is coming to an end, as Bo (Anna Silk) and her merry band of Fae bring Lost Girl Season 5 to a close. The final season will air in the UK on the 13th October 2015 at 9pm on SyFy UK.

For those of you unfamiliar with Lost Girl, it follows the story of a young girl who, unbeknownst to her, is actually a succubus. A fact that comes to light when she accidentally kills her first boyfriend by stealing his life force, forcing her to run away. This leads to her discovering that a succubus is just one of many types of ‘Fae’ creatures which have their own communities, separated into ‘Light’ or ‘Dark’. Not wishing to be pushed around, Bo refuses to choose and declares she’s neutral. A position which becomes increasingly hard to maintain as the seasons progress!

Lost Girl’s 16 episode season 5 first aired in it’s home country of Canada in Dec 2014, but was split in half, with the 2nd half only just starting to air (6th Sept 2015 on Showcase). The Oct air date in the UK should mean it’s run pretty much in a single block.
