Sean Bean’s Legends Cancelled in the US By TNT

by Dave Elliott

He might have managed to survive past the first season for a change, but sadly US Network TNT have announced they’ve cancelled Sean Bean’s series Legends after 2 seasons.

Based on a Robert Littell novel, Legends, starred Sean Bean as Martin Odum, an undercover agent who struggles to separate his FBI ‘Legend’ identity from reality.

After getting picked up for it’s 2nd season, the show went through a major overhaul which saw most of season 1’s cast being thrown out and replaced, as they moved from a case-of-the-week show to a over arching story format, with the setting moved from California to London & Europe.

TNT also announced the cancellation of Public Morals and Agent X, neither of which had UK pick ups, along with the renewal of The Librarians, Major Crimes, and Murder in the First.

Legends airs on Sky 1 in the UK, and the 2nd season is due to arrive in February.
