Not only has the TV show Powers just got a terrestrial UK air date, but now 50 Cent’s Hit Show Power get’s a wider release than it’s had before as it lands on Netflix in the UK. Previously the show had been available to buy on iTunes, Amazon & Blinkbox, but this is the first time it’s landed in the UK on a subscription service.

Power is exec produced by 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson), and is a crime drama showing 2 very different sides of New York – the glamorous club scene, and the rather less glamorous underground drugs trade. Omari Hardwick (Kick-Ass, The A-Team) stars as James ‘Ghost’ St. Patrick as owner of the NYC night club ‘Truth’… and he also happens to be one of the biggest drug lords in New York… Tired of trying to balance his double life, he decides he wants to leave his drug ring and go straight, but that’s when things start to fall apart…

The show also stars singer/rapper Naturi Naughton, as Ghost’s wife Tasha, Lela Loren as his mistress Angela, Joseph Sikora as right-hand man Tommy Egan, and even Fiddy himself pops up as a character called Kanan.

The first 2 seasons of Power will land on Netflix UK on the 1st April.
