Red Dwarf XI Will Arrive In September On Dave
Red Dwarf XI will been hurtling onto Dave in September 2016 Geektown has learnt.
Season 11 of the show, sees Chris Barrie (Rimmer), Craig Charles (Lister), Danny John-Jules (Cat) and Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) all reunited onboard the Jupiter Mining Corporation space ship, as it returns for 6 new episodes this Autumn.
Along with the announcement of a date, some background on some of the episodes for next season also landed. (WARNING: SOME SPOILERS)
- Rimmer accidentally saves the life of a Space Corps Captain and is promoted to Officer!
- Cat takes time off from being in love with himself to fall in love with a female Cat with a secret.
- Lister wakes up to discover a deranged droid has stolen some of his body parts
- Kryten has a mid-life crisis and considers leaving the Dwarfers for a younger crew.
- The posse also find themselves in an alternative America where modern technology is outlawed, making both Kryten and Rimmer illegal.
The series is written and directed by Red Dwarf co-creator, Doug Naylor, and produced by Richard Naylor and Kerry Waddell for Baby Cow Productions & Grant Naylor Production.
Along with an 11th series of Red Dwarf, a 12th series has also been commissioned, due to air in 2017.
