Missing Game Of Thrones? Then You Might Want To Take A Look At E4’s Wasted!

by Dave Elliott

If you’re suffering Game Of Thrones withdrawal, there’s a new comedy coming to E4 which may help dull the pain a little!

Wasted, which airs Tuesday 26th July at 10pm on E4, stars Danny Kirrane (Critical, Trollied), Dylan Edwards (Pramface, The Job Lot, Game of Thrones), Gwyneth Keyworth (Power Monkeys, Doctor Thorne, Game of Thrones) and Rose Reynolds (The World’s End, Poldark). It also stars Sean Bean in full ex-Lord of Winterfell garb…

Lovable fantasy fanatic Morpheus, (Kirrane), manages a bong shop (the aptly named Stoned Henge) with his neurotic sister Sarah (Reynolds). His secret crush is their mate Alison (Keyworth), the quirky girl who runs a tattoo business out the back of the shop, and his cocky best friend Kent (Edwards) sleeps on the sofa, rent free. Together they’ve been living in each other’s pockets since school and aren’t moving anywhere fast.

But Morpheus is a dreamer, and his dreams take the form of his hero Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), who appears in full GoT garb, as Morpheus’ personal spirit guide, to help him navigate the rough seas of wasting your twenties.

In the first episode, Kent returns to the small village of Neston Berry after failing at being a DJ, and hooks back up with his old friends. Sarah and Alison hear about a mythical stash of nineties pills buried in a field, and Morpheus meets his personal spirit guide for the first time…

You can get Wasted, Tuesday 26th July at 10pm on E4.
