Geektown Radio : 88 – London Comic Con Special With Troy Baker/Nolan North, Plus UK TV News & Air Date Info!
After a hectic weekend down in London, this week we have our MCM London Comic Con special featuring multiple guest interviews, including the full press round table interview with voice acting legends Troy Baker & Nolan North! We also have clips from our interviews with Emily Rose & Lucas Bryant from Haven, Enver Gjokaj from Marvel’s Agent Carter & Dollhouse, and DC actors Violett Beane – aka Jesse Quick in The Flash, and Michael Rowe aka Deadshot in Arrow.
Although you might not know the names, if you’ve picked up any video game, or watched any DC/Marvel cartoons in recent years, you will have heard the voices of Nolan North & Troy Baker, two of the most prolific voice actors working today.
Nolan North voices Nathan Drake in the Uncharted game series, Penguin in the Batman: Arkham series, David in The Last of Us, Deadpool in various Marvel animations, Superboy in Young Justice, and took over the role of Ghost from Peter Dinklage in Destiny. Fans of Pretty Little Liars may also recognise him as Peter Hastings.
Troy Baker voiced Joel in The Last of Us, Rhys in Tales from the Borderlands, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, The Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, Two-Face in Batman: Arkham Knight, Batman in Lego Batman 3, and of course Sam Drake, older brother of Nathan, in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He also voices Loki in many Marvel animations, and voices Joker and Batman for many of the Lego Batman animations.
