Geektown Radio 104: Lethal Weapon’s Keesha Sharp, UK TV News & UK TV Air Date Info!

On Geektown Radio this week, we take a look a Amazon’s newest pilots, run down the casting for Marvel’s The Inhumans, and have a very special guest – actress Keesha Sharp from the new hit US show Lethal Weapon!

Keesha is an LA based actress, who you may have seen as Dale Cochran in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Sheila in Everybody Hates Chris, Monica in Girlfriends, or Gigi in Are We There Yet? Her latest role is playing Trish Murtaugh, wife of the iconic character Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans), on the new tv adaptation of the classic Lethal Weapon franchise. We chat about taking on the role, what it’s like working with Damon and Clayne Crawford, who plays Riggs on the show, and where the character might go next!

Unlike a lot of film-to-tv remake, this one is actually really good, and a solid update of the source material, full of action, drama and comedy. It’s also been picked up for a 2nd series! If you want to check out Lethal Weapon yourself, you’ll find it Friday nights at 9pm on ITV.

Also On This Week’s Show:

  • Our TV Editor Andrew returns to the show, so we chat about all the latest shows and films we’ve been watching, including the return of Top Gear, Legion, and Quantico.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv news from the UK and the USA including all the new Amazon pilots,  Marvel’s Inhumans casting, and Benedict Cumberbatch’s new show.
  • We have the interview with actress Keesha Sharp.
  • We give you our recommendations for upcoming TV in the next 7 days.
