Game Of Thrones Has A July Air Date!
Rejoice, for the moment has arisen! Game Of Thrones Season 7 has an air date, and it is the 17th July 2017 at 2am on Sky Atlantic (which will then be repeated at a more reasonable hour the following day, as usual).
The launch was announced via HBO’s live Facebook stream, where visitors were asked to type “FIRE” to reveal the date, as a flamethrower fired at a block of ice to melt it. However, I think someone miscalculated how long it that process would take… So it went offline due to ‘technical difficulties’ (and whilst some one turned up the heat and add an extra flamethrower), and reappeared having melted rather more… But was still not melting fast enough, so then went off again… And then FINALLY came back to reveal the date.
As we’ve mentioned before, GoT was delayed a little this year, due to them needing rather more wintery weather to shoot in, as “Winter has arrived” in Westeros, so shooting schedules had to be moved. When it returns, we should find out what happens when fire (Daenerys) meets ice (Jon Snow), and whether new Queen Cersei will outdo her son for title of the ‘Worst Ruler Of Westeros”…
All will be revealed when Game Of Thrones Season 7 lands – 17th July 2017 at 2am on Sky Atlantic.

Why is Game of Thrones season 7 put on at 2 am for? That not fair on the rest of the fans. Who have work early morning or who have to get up and sort of their family ….in the past it was on at 9 pm why now 2 am? Please tell me why..thanks!
It’s simulcast with the US, so it has to be 2am. It will be on the next date at a more sensible time too as usual! They have done it this way for the past few years, so don’t panic, you’ll still get to see it. 🙂
Thank you for letting me know… So at some point they will put it on at 9/10 pm
Yes, It will be on at 9 or 10pm on 18th July on Sky Atlantic too, in it’s traditional time slot.
