Plus, as always, we have an interview, which this week is with Paul Franklin, the Visual Effects Supervisor on films such as Captain America: Civil War, Inception and The Dark Knight!
Paul is best known for his Academy Award & BAFTA winning work as Visual Effects Supervisor on films such as Christopher Nolan’s Inception and Interstellar, & The Dark Knight, and other movies like as Captain America: Civil War, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Now he’s turned his hand to directing, and recently premiered his short film ‘The Escape’ at Tribeca Film Festival. The movie tells the story of an ordinary family man, who is offered the chance to live out his wildest fantasy; all he has to do is hand over everything he owns. It starts the legendary Julian Sands, the brilliant Art Malik, Ben Miller from Death in Paradise, and Dollhouse’s Olivia Williams.
