Sky Living Picks Up ‘How To Get Away With Murder’
Good news UK ‘How To Get Away With Murder‘ fans! According to the latest email from Sky, it would appear Sky Living has picked up the series and will be airing it ‘soon!’
‘How To Get Away With Murder’ had previously been airing on Universal, but they announced towards the end of last year that they would not be running season 3, leaving UK fans in limbo. It’s not clear if Sky Living will be jumping straight in where Universal left off, or if they will run the first 2 seasons beforehand. My suspicion is that seasons 1 & 2 will be placed On Demand, with season 3 being broadcast on the channel.
The show stars Viola Davis (Suicide Squad, Fences) as Annalise Keating, a morally dubious law professor at a prestigious Philadelphia University. Along with 5 of her student and her employees, the group finds themselves embroiled in a murder plot, which leads to corruption, coverups, and suicides!
This isn’t the first time Sky Living has rescued an abandoned ShondaLand series. ‘Scandal’ was dropped by More4 after 2 seasons but was also picked up by Sky a few months later.
No news on exactly when How To Get Away With Murder will air on Sky Living, other than ‘coming soon’, so we expect that means in the next few months. We’ll update you when we know more.
