Good news ‘Quantico‘ fans (and fans of a certain British actor). Russell Tovey‘s cheeky Harry Doyle will be back when the series returns for its 3rd season.
Tovey joined the show last season as the character who’s described as “part Thomas Crown, part grown-up Artful Dodger – and is just as likely to seduce your husband as he is to pick his pocket when it’s over.” He, unfortunately, had to leave the show last season due to a prior commitment to star in the National Theatre’s production of ‘Angels in America’, but now he’s back.
Things are changing both in front and behind the camera for the drama when it comes back to our screens. On screen, Priyanka Chopra (Alex), Jake McLaughlin (Ryan), Johanna Braddy (Shelby) and Blair Underwood (Owen Hall) are all fixed to return, but Yasmine Al Massri (Nimah/Raina) and Pearl Thusi (Dayana) won’t be back.
Off screen, Series creator Joshua Safran has left the series as showrunner and will be replaced by ‘Code Black’ showrunner Michael Seitzman. They are also looking to try and simplify the mythology and storylines a bit in a hope to make it easier on new viewers.
Prior to joining ‘Quantico’ Tovey is probably best known for the sitcom ‘Him & Her’, HBO’s ‘Looking’ and, of course, playing the reluctant werewolf George in ‘Being Human’.
We expecting ‘Quantico‘ Season 3 to air on Alibi in Early 2018, but that’s not yet confirmed.
