FOX UK Brings ‘Lucifer’ To UK TV For It’s Linear TV Premiere
Fox UK has picked up the brilliant ‘Lucifer‘ for its UK linear TV premiere on Thursday, 31st August 2017 at 9pm the channel has announced.
Based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg, the series follows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis – Miranda), the original fallen angel, who has become dissatisfied with his life in hell. Retiring to L.A., he inadvertently teams up with an LAPD detective (Lauren German – Chicago Fire) to help punish criminals… Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good, or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
“Lucifer is ridiculously entertaining; part supernatural drama, part police procedural, part dark comedy,” comments Toby Etheridge, Head of Programming, Fox Networks Group UK. “The series takes everything we think we know about the world’s greatest villain and flips it upside down. British actor Tom Ellis is having the time of his life playing the Lord of Hell, and so will our viewers with the television premiere of Lucifer on FOX.”
The first 2 seasons of ‘Lucifer’ have already aired in the UK on Amazon Prime, but for those of you without a Prime subscription, this is your chance to catch this hugely entertaining series.
‘Lucifer‘ Season 1 comes to Fox UK on Thursday, 31st August 2017 at 9pm.

Will season 3 still be on Amazon in September?
Not confirmed, but yes it should be. This is just the announcement for the first time it’s broadcast on traditional tv. :)
Sorry, I meant October.
Yes, I figured. ;) Should be on Amazon from 3rd October if they put it on the day after the US like they did the last 2 seasons.
Great show! Glad that it’s getting proper screen time!
