SYFY UK Rebrands. Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘The Exorcist’ Season 2 In October.
Following in the footsteps of the US channel, from late September SYFY UK will have a fresh new look, according to parent company NBCUniversal International Networks. They’ve also dropped the UK air date for ‘The Exorcist‘ Season 2 which will arrive on the channel from Wednesday, 11th October 2017.
SYFY UK’s new brand id will arrive from the 22nd September as part of a rollout around the world, designed to celebrate SYFY’s commitment to the genre and fandom at large and includes an all-new look and feel across all linear, digital and social platforms, including a new logo and typeface.

Together with SYFY in the US, NBCUniversal’s dedicated science fiction brand is creating a universe for sci-fi fans across the world to call home.”
SYFY UK is coming off their most successful launch of a new show since December 2014, with the premiere of ‘Midnight, Texas‘ back in July 2017 – the title was previously held by the launch of ‘The Librarians‘.
They have also announced the return of ‘The Exorcist’ to the channel for its 2nd Season, which stars Alfonso Herrera (‘Sense8’) as Father Tomas Ortega & Ben Daniels (‘Rogue One’) as, now uncollared, priest Marcus Keane who hit the road to hunt down evil. They are joined this season by John Cho (‘Star Trek Beyond’), as a man running a home for at-risk foster children, who seeks the duo’s help when one of the children is apparently targeted by a powerful, malevolent force.
