Channel 5 Picks Up ‘Will & Grace’ To Air In January
‘Will & Grace‘ is returning to UK shores thanks to Channel 5, who have picked up the series to run in January 2018 it has been announced.
Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally all reprise their infamous roles as Will, Grace, Jack and Karen. The show picks up 11 years after the events of season 8. Will and Grace have both gone through divorces and are back living in Will’s apartment. Karen has landed a job redecorating the Oval Office, and Jack meets the gay Congressman with whom he has been corresponding.
The original team has also reunited behind the cameras. James Burrows, the legendary director of every original ‘Will & Grace’ episode, returns along with creators/producers Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.
The show concludes it’s initial 7 episode run tomorrow in the US, but the 9th Season as already been expanded to 16 episodes, with the rest due to air in 2018. It’s also already been renewed for a 10th Season.
‘Will & Grace‘ will premiere in the UK in January 2018 (exact date TBC) on Channel 5.
