‘Stargate: Origins’ Gets First Full Trailer And February 2018 Premiere Date

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally getting chance to step back through the Stargate when Stargate: Origins launches on Stargate CommandThursday, 15th February 2018.

The 10-episode digital series explores a brand-new chapter in Catherine Langford’s (Ellie Gall – ‘Blind’, ‘A Midsummer’s Nightmare’) early history surrounding the extraordinary portal. Young Catherine embarks on an unexpected adventure to unlock the mystery of what lies beyond the Stargate in order to save Earth from unimaginable darkness.

Joining Ellie Gall in the cast is Connor Trinneer, who will play Professor Paul Langford, father of Catherine, and the man whose archaeological dig uncovered the Stargate back in 1929. He’s no stranger to the franchise having portrayed Lastlight/Michael Kenmore the Human-Wraith Hybrid in ex-‘Stargate: Atlantis’. You’ll also recognise him as Trip on ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ and from popping up on shows such as ‘Suits’‘NCIS: Los Angeles’, and ‘Pretty Little Liars’. Additional cast includes Salome Azizi, Philip Alexander, Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez, Daniel Rashid, Sarah Navratil, Shvan Aladdin, Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, Derek Chariton, Justin Michael Terry and Lincoln Werner Hoppe.

The series is written by Mark Ilvedson and Justin Michael Terry and directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan (‘Virtual Morality’).

Stargate: Origins‘ comes to the Stargate Command digital service from Thursday, 15th February 2018.
