‘Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events’ Will End With Season 3

Those of you who enjoy watching the distress and torment of the poor Baudelaire orphans, I have some unfortunate news. Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events will be coming to an end with its 3rd season. However, as we’ve only had 1 season so far of these appalling tales of woe, you sick individuals still have 2 entire seasons to “enjoy”.

The news came from an interview given by Neil Patrick Harris, a close personal friend of the evil Count Olaf, who said “We’re three seasons all in. We’ve intentionally been very truthful and factual and loyal to the books. We’ve added a few characters that aren’t in the books, we’ve added some songs that you probably couldn’t put into the books, but for the most part, we’re sticking to the structure of what already worked.”

He goes on to mention season 1 of this dreadful tale covered the first 4 of the 13 books, which leaves the next 2 seasons to cover the remaining 9. Whilst some tv series do expand beyond their source material, you’d have to be an especially depraved individual to want this unfortunate tale dragged out for longer than absolutely necessary!

For those lucky enough not have watched this “entertainment show”, it tells the dark and disturbing tale of Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny (Presley Smith), 3 children who tragically lose their parents in a fire, only to be cast into the care of the dastardly Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris), who will will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. Although they do manage to escape his initial grasp, he continues to pursue them, whilst they try and unlock the mystery of their parent’s death, and the mysterious secret society, of which they were members.

If you have a strong constitution and can bear to watch more of this appalling story, Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events’ Season 2 will arrive on Netflix from Friday, 30th March 2018. You have been warned!
