It’s the bittersweet news ‘Sense8‘ fans have been waiting for. Netflix has announced the very final extended episode of the drama will arrive in June 2018.
The series was initially cancelled by the streaming service after 2 seasons, but after a huge backlash from dedicated fans, Netflix decided to let the Wachowskis finish the show properly with a final two-hour episode. According to the brief description, the finale will see personal lives pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates.
Created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski with J. Michael Straczynski, the show followed 8 disparate people who are telepathically linked, enabling them to come together, physically and mentally, as they are plunged into the middle of each other’s tragedies and triumphs. The main cast included Toby Onwumere (Capheus), Tina Desai (Kala), Miguel Angel Silvestre (Lito), Jamie Clayton (Nomi), Tuppence Middleton (Riley), Donna Bae (Sun), Brian J. Smith (Will) and Max Riemelt (Wolfgang).
The highly-anticipated conclusion to the saga of the ‘Sense8‘ cluster will be revealed when the series finale launches globally on Friday, 8th June 2018, only on Netflix.
