Grace Park Returns To TV In ABC Drama ‘A Million Little Things’
Former ‘Hawaii Five-0’ star (and Cylon) Grace Park will be back on primetime US TV, as she takes a leading role on ABC’s new drama ‘A Million Little Things‘ it has been announced.
They say friendship isn’t one big thing, it’s a million little things, and that’s true for a group of friends from Boston who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way, they discover that friends may be the one thing to save them from themselves.
Park will take the role of Katherine, replacing Anne Son who played the part in the pilot. Katherine is struggling to juggle her life as a working mum, dealing with the frustration of feeling that excelling in her legal career means compromising her home life. When she married Eddie (played by ‘Grimm’s’ David Giuntoli) he was a successful musician, but now finds herself the sole breadwinner in the family, so she’s the one that has to be the (metaphorical) rock star.
The show also stars Christina Ochoa (‘Blood Drive’, ‘Animal Kingdom’), Ron Livingston (‘Search Party’, ‘Boardwalk Empire’), Romany Malco (‘No Ordinary Family’, ‘Weeds’), James Roday (‘Psych’), Allison Miller (’13 Reasons Why’), Christina Moses (‘The Originals’), Stephanie Szostak (‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Satisfaction’) and Lizzy Greene (‘Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn’).
This will be Park’s first TV role since she walked away from ‘Hawaii Five-0’ alongside Daniel Dae Kim, following a highly publicised pay dispute with CBS. She previously starred in epic sci-fi drama ‘Battlestar Galactica’ as Sharon ‘Boomer’ Valerii.
No news on a UK pick up yet for ‘A Million Little Things‘ yet, but we’ll let you know when we hear something. The show is due to air in 2018/19 season on ABC in the US.
