As the US networks start nailing down their “Fall” schedules last week, a number of shows, which had been left in limbo following the May Upfront massacre, have finally discovered their fate, and it’s not good news. Rather than create 4 separate stories, we thought it would be less painful to “rip the band-aid off” in one big cancellation post… Ghosted, Champions, SIX, and Famous In Love have all been cancelled.

Starring Adam Scott (‘Big Little Lies’, ‘Parks and Recreation’, ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’) and Craig Robinson (‘The Office US’, ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’, ‘This Is The End’), ‘Ghosted’ was a single-camera, live-action comedy about the partnership between two polar opposites: cynical sceptic (Robinson), and genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Scott), who are recruited by a secret government agency to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles – all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.

‘Ghosted’ aired on ITV2 in the UK, but due to the show being pulled from the schedules in the US, there are still some episodes left to air on this side of the pond. We’ll update the UK Air Dates page when we know if/when they land.

‘SIX’ was an action drama series chronicles the daily lives and operations of the US Naval Special Warfare Development Group, commonly known as SEAL Team Six – one of the US Armed Forces’ primary counter-terrorism units. While on a mission in Afghanistan in 2014, US Navy SEAL troop leader Rip Taggart (Walton Goggins – ‘The Shield’, ‘Justified’) makes a questionable decision which has significant repercussions. Two years later, Rip is disbanded from his team and is now working as a private security contractor in Nigeria helping to protect an all-girls school. While on assignment, Rip is captured by the terrorist organisation Boko Haram, which prompts Rip’s former squadmates within SEAL Team Six to try and locate him and then attempt a rescue. ‘SIX’ aired on 5Spike and History in the UK.

Created by Charlie Grandy (‘The Office’, ‘The Mindy Project’) and Mindy Kaling (‘The Office’, ‘The Mindy Project’), ‘Champions’ was a half-hour, single-camera comedy that centers on Vince (Anders Holm – ‘The Mindy Project’, ‘Workaholics’), a washed-up high school baseball star who reluctantly gave up his dreams to take over the family gym in Brooklyn. Vince lives with his sweet, naive younger brother, Matthew (Andy Favreau – ‘Aquarius’, ‘The Mick’), and is on the verge of secretly selling the gym and moving to Florida when his high school fling, Priya (recurring guest star Kaling), unexpectedly drops off their 15-year-old son, Michael (J.J. Totah – ‘Other People’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’), on his doorstep. ‘Champions’ aired on Netflix in the UK.

‘Famous In Love’ came from ‘Pretty Little Liar’s’ I. Marlene King, and followed Paige (Bella Thorne – ‘Scream’, ‘Big Love’), an ordinary college student who gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood adaptation of a best-selling novel. Now catapulted into the spotlight, she must navigate her new life, and undeniable chemistry with her two co-leads, whilst uncovering the truth about what happened to a famous missing pop star. ‘Famous In Love’ aired on Amazon Prime in the UK.
