Justified UK & US TV Premiere Date

by Andrew

Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is something of a 19th century–style lawman in modern times, whose unconventional enforcement of justice makes him a target of criminals and his U.S. Marshals Service bosses, alike. As a result of his controversial but “justified”, quick-draw shooting of a mob hit-man in Miami, Givens is punished by being re-assigned from Miami, to Kentucky. The Lexington, Kentucky Marshals office’s jurisdiction includes Harlan County (a hopelessly impoverished, backwoods, coal-mining community in southeastern Kentucky)—which Raylan hates, and thought he had escaped for good, in his youth (from Wikipedia).

Show renewal usually announced in March.

This is one of the best shows to come out of the U.S. for years. Well written, produced, edited ect. The acting is superb down to earth and gritty story lines. Why oh why stop it from channel 5? It must be those muppets again?
I suppose it will come out on DVD at Amazon soon.

Thank god for Amazon box sets, I’ve had to buy all but the first series of Breaking Bad (multi award winning drama not good enough for soap watching x-factor muppets), and this is on top of tv subscriptions, watching good ‘below the radar shows’ is getting expensive.

Why did you buy it? Netflix has the whole breaking bad seasons. You could have gotten the free 30.day trial.and had a marathon.
WHO DECIDES WHAT NOT TO BROADCAST? I THINK I SHOULD GET THE JOB!!

It’s Breaking Bad all over again (dropped by Fox then by Five USA).

UK TV bosses are such clueless, tasteless, low-market morons.

All of them? Every single one? Programmes get dropped by broadcasters quite frequently including, believe it or not, in other countries as well as, shock, the United States.

Channel 5 isn’t owned by UKTV.

It’s pretty clear that by ‘UK TV’ B Walls meant television in the UK, not the company UKTV.

And surely a TV exec somewhere in the UK is kicking himself for letting Breaking Bad go, only to see it become a huge success on Netflix and DVD.

Possibly C5 have learned something from this, because they have just reversed their decision to drop The Walking Dead. I hope that they do the same with Justified.

Possibly, although of course a broadcast channel has a different model to physical sales and subscription services where income is more directly linked.

As for Justified (and Sons of Anarchy for that matter), I suspect if the decision was going to be reversed it would have been by now.

Are at least C5 has big brother and that late night casino programme. Few thought they had no good stuff. Oh wait they don’t. Bottom feeding shit.

This and Breaking Bad were the best things on tv. Cant believe Justified has been dropped. BRING IT BACK NOW!

Can’t believe 5 dropped this. Someone needs to pick this up and air it at a better time than 5 USA did. Well written, produced and directed. This and Banshee are the best things on TV.
