‘House Of Cards’ Teases Frank’s Death In New Season 6 Clip
‘House of Cards‘ will return for it’s 6th and final season in November 2018, and this new little clip teasers the death of the former president, Frank Underwood.
The last season of the political drama will see Robin Wright return as Claire Underwood who is now President Of The United States. We knew Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood would not be returning after he was fired due to allegations regarding his sexual conduct, but up until now, there had been no hint as to what would happen with his character. However, it was presumed he would be killed off in some way.
Although the clip above doesn’t give any signs as to what happened to Frank, we do see he is now in the ground and buried on his family’s property. As Claire stands over his grave saying “when the bury me, it won’t be in my backyard. And when they pay their respects, they’ll have to wait in line…” It’s pretty clear there’s no love lost between the two characters.
There are a number of new faces for this final outing including Cody Fern (‘War Horse’, ‘American Crime Story’), Diane Lane (‘Batman v Superman’, ‘Jumper’), and Greg Kinnear (‘As Good as It Gets’, ‘The Kennedys’). Michael Kelly returns as Doug, along with Jayne Atkinson as Catherine, Boris McGiver as Tom, and Derek Cecil as Seth. They will be joined by Campbell Scott as Special Adviser Mark Usher and Patricia Clarkson as Jane Davis, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, both who appeared in Season 5.
The final season will be 8-episodes.
‘House of Cards‘ Season 6 will premiere on Netflix from Friday, 2nd November 2018.
