Some good news for those of you with Virgin TV, as the UK provider launches a new channel, Virgin TV Ultra HD, with a line up of UK exclusives and 2nd run rights to high-end dramas. Virgin has announced the following shows for the launch of the new channel on Monday, 17th September 2018.

StartUp – Monday 17th September 2018, 10pm

Adam Brody and Martin Freeman star in this series about a tech company forced to fund the venture with dirty money from unsuspecting places. While forming ties with a dangerous Haitian gang, the fight to build a business pales in comparison to the fight to stay alive, especially when there’s a vehement FBI agent who wields the power to make or break those he comes in contact with – and not always for the right reasons. The series previously aired on Amazon Prime in the UK.

Shut Eye – Tuesday, 18th September 2018, 10pm

‘Shut Eye’ takes a darkly comedic look at the world of Los Angeles storefront psychics and the organized crime syndicate that runs them. Former magician Charlie Haverford (Jeffrey Donovan – ‘Burn Notice’) oversees a number of fortune-telling parlors on behalf of his violent and domineering Romani kingpin boss, until a blow to the head jars him into a new mindset, making him question everything he has ever believed. This is the first time the Hulu series has aired in the UK.

The Art of More – Thursday 20th September 2018, 10pm

‘The Art of More’, explores the underbelly and surprisingly cutthroat world of premium auction houses filled with hustlers, smugglers, power mongers and collectors of the beautiful and the bizarre. Christian Cooke, Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth and Cary Elwes star. This is the first time the series has aired in the UK.

Masters of Sex – Friday, 21st September 2018

Based on the lives of Dr William Masters and Virginia Johnson, Michael Sheen stars in this drama based on real research into sexual dysfunction in the latter half of the twentieth century. The first 2 seasons aired on Channel 4 and More4 in the UK, but the final 2 seasons have never aired this side of the pond before.

Virgin TV Ultra HD will be exclusive to Virgin TV Full House and VIP customers on Channel 999 from Monday, 17th September 2018.
