First Trailer Lands For ‘House Of Cards’ Final Season

by Dave Elliott

Netflix has released the first full trailer for House Of Cards 6th and final season which sees Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood return as a POTUS who is not taking crap from anyone.

The last season of the political drama sees Robin Wright return as Claire Underwood, now President Of The United States. Although we don’t know exactly how Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood will be removed, it’s clear he will be very dead when the drama returns. Spacey was, as I think everyone knows by now, fired due to allegations regarding his sexual conduct.

Wright is joined by Academy Award nominees Diane Lane (‘Batman v Superman’, ‘Jumper’) and Greg Kinnear (‘As Good as It Gets’, ‘The Kennedys’) as well as Cody Fern this season, alongside Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly (Doug), and Jayne Atkinson (Catherine). Campbell Scott returns as Special Adviser Mark Usher and Patricia Clarkson as Jane Davis, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, both who appeared in Season 5. Derek Cecil and Boris McGiver also star.

Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese continue as showrunners for season 6, and they serve as executive producers along with Robin Wright, David Fincher, Joshua Donen, Dana Brunetti, Eric Roth, Michael Dobbs and Andrew Davies. Created for television by Beau Willimon, ‘House of Cards’ is produced by Donen/Fincher/Roth and Trigger Street Productions, Inc. in associated with Media Rights Capital for Netflix.

The final season will be 8-episodes.

House of Cards‘ Season 6 will premiere on Netflix from Friday, 2nd November 2018.
