Cassetteboy Teams Up With Now TV To Announce Netflix Joining The Streaming Platform

To celebrate the arrival of Netflix on the NOW TV Smart Stick, YouTube comedy star Cassetteboy has created a mash-up video tribute that remixes clips from Netflix’s latest and greatest shows to Bryan Ferry’s infectiously catchy classic “Let’s Stick Together”.

For those of you that haven’t come across the brilliant comedic work of Cassetteboy, the UK based duo create amazing mashups of celebrity and political figures, mixed with music, turning them into hilarious parodies.

Cut to the beat of the iconic 1970s track ‘Let’s Stick Together’, this TV twist on a music video features characters from celebrated Netflix’s shows, including Queen Elizabeth II from ‘The Crown’, Piper from ‘Orange is the New Black’, Karamo Brown from ‘Queer Eye’, and even ‘Bojack Horseman’ singing and dancing along in excitement and celebration.

The video tribute marks the arrival of Netflix to the NOW TV Smart Stick, as well a range of other NOW TV streaming devices. Netflix joins over 50 apps currently available across NOW TV, including UKTV Play, Red Bull TV, Sky Store, YouTube and Vevo. You can also browse the best UK catch-up services, including BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and Demand 5.

“Settle in and stream the shows you love all in one place as we end the struggle with TV inputs by adding Netflix to our NOW TV Smart Stick,” commented Gidon Katz, Managing Director, NOW TV.

As we’ve often said, NOW TV makes a great alternative to the (increasingly expensive) Sky subscription, especially if you’re only really getting Sky for the entertainment channels and not the sport. You can find more info on the NOW TV Smark Stick here.
