Sky Witness Sets October UK Premiere Date For ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 15
Medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ will return to Sky Witness for its 15th season in October the UK broadcaster has announced.
The series follows Meredith Grey and the team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or-death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.
As we head into the new season, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is seemingly distracted and struggles to stay focused, and Maggie finds herself the keeper of a big secret while Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) try to figure out their relationship. Meanwhile, Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Alex’s honeymoon (Justin Chambers) doesn’t go exactly as planned.
Additionally, new doctors continue to shake up the hospital in typical Grey Sloan manner. Meredith bonds with a patient while Jackson (Jesse Williams) struggles with the meaning behind recent experiences; and after making a life-changing decision, Jo forms an unexpected alliance.
Those new faces include ‘Nashville’ star Chris Carmack who plays a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon, Alex Landi who plays Dr Kim, the series’ first gay male surgeon, and Giacomo Gianniotti as new hot doc, Dr DeLuca. Kim Raver will also be returning as Dr Teddy Altman, this time as a series regular.
‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ premieres in the UK from Wednesday, 24th October 2018 (time TBC, probably 9pm) on Sky Witness.
