Well, this is an interesting twist! Matt Murdock appears to come face-to-face with another ‘Daredevil‘ in the first full-length trailer for Season 3.
Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero.
This season picks up after the events of ‘The Defenders’ series and will be borrowing bits from the classic ‘Born Again’ comic book run. As you can see in the trailer, Fisk is out of prison, and determined to cause havoc for the crime-fighting lawyer. He’s aided in this by new edition Wilson Bethel (‘Hart of Dixie’, ‘How to Get Away with Murder’) who is believed to be playing Bullseye.
Other new cast members include Joanne Whalley (‘The Borgias’, ‘Gossip Girl’) as Sister Maggie and Jay Ali (‘The Fosters’), who plays Rahul ‘Ray’ Nadeem, an ambitious FBI agent. Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson are set to return as Karen Page and “Foggy” Nelson.
‘Daredevil‘ Season 3 premieres on Netflix UK and around the world from Friday, 19th October 2018.
