‘Bones’ Star Tamara Taylor Leads cast of Netflix Monster Hunter Drama ‘October Faction’
‘Bones’ star Tamara Taylor & J.C. MacKenzie (‘Dark Angel’, ‘Vinyl’) will lead the cast in Netflix upcoming supernatural drama ‘October Faction‘ it has been announced.
‘October Faction‘ comes from Damian Kindler (‘Sleepy Hollow’, ‘Krypton’, ‘Sanctuary’), and is based on the IDW comic book series written by Steve Niles. The drama follows globetrotting monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in upstate New York with their teenage children Geoff and Viv. As the family adjusts, Fred and Deloris must hide their identities as members of a secret organization, and our heroes quickly discover that their new small-town setting isn’t as idyllic as it seems.
Tamara Taylor (‘Bones’, ‘Altered Carbon’) will play Deloris Allen, with J.C. MacKenzie (‘Dark Angel’, ‘Vinyl’) taking the role of her husband Fred Allen. The dark magic-practising children will be played by Aurora Burghart (‘Sex Education’) who takes the part of daughter Viv Allen, and Gabriel Darku (‘Impulse’, ‘American Gods’) will star as the son, Geoff Allen.
The cast is rounded out by Wendy Crewson (‘The Vow’, ‘Room’), Megan Follows (‘Reign’, ‘Anne of Green Gables’) and Stephen McHattie (‘Watchmen’, ‘Maurice Richard’). Their roles have not yet been disclosed.

‘October Faction’ is produced by High Park Entertainment in association with IDW Entertainment. IDW Entertainment is the worldwide distributor (excluding Canada) for the series. The series was adapted and created by Damian Kindler who serves as creator, showrunner and executive producer.
Netflix hasn’t released premiere dates for ‘October Faction‘ yet, but we’ll let you know when we hear more.
