is bones on a break of some sort ?
Yes, s11 ep 10 is the last ep before mid season break. What I want to know is when it comes back!!! Had to wait long enough for s11 to start!
Can’t believe i’m gonna have to stop watching sleepy hollow till the surprise bones crossover episode comes on that explains the episode 5 “Previously on sleepy hollow episode” which was actually a bones episode. So confusing but oh so important when following a supposed 2 part story lined series… thanks sky for the spoiler of an episode i will need to wait 2 months or so for.
Bones and Sleepy Hollow are having a cross over so I would think they would need to air the same time.
Sadly it doesn’t work like that over here… Bones is on Sky Living. Sleepy Hollow is on Universal. Totally different networks, unlike the US where they’re on the same channel (Fox). Unfortunately they never tend to co-ordinate things, so it’ll be more luck than planning if they air close together…
Why January , when filming began in July 2014 and aired in September / October 2014 in the USA. And us fans in the U.K. Have to wait nearly 4 months which is about 2/3 through the USA air time.
Jan is actually under halfway through the US run, and that’s part of the problem…
Bones airs end of Sept (25th) in the US, but they have a horribly erratic scheduling over there.
E.g. last season of Bones was 24 episodes, but the US took 35 weeks to air them all…
So somewhere you have to ‘lose’ empty 11 weeks of scheduling between the US and here. The decision for Sky is, do you:
A: air close to the US air date, but have to skip weeks when they do (this option gets as many complains as delaying it does, and confuses the viewer as it’s not on every week.)
B: you split the season in 2 halves (valid option, and they have done that in the past).
C: Or you delay the start (which is what they are doing).
Sky used to split it in 2, but since 2013 they’ve run it from Jan so it can play as an unbroken block.
So that’s ‘Why January’. :)
For what it is worth, I prefer the way they are doing it, albeit I got bored of Bones a couple of years ago.
I can’t understand this obsession with wanting everything right away, and if you do really enjoy a programme, not having it stop and start is far better.
It’s slightly less of an issue with something like Bones or CSI which are almost entirely procedural. The American breaks can be extremely annoying with serial stories.
That said, I never watch “live” tv anyway, and all these clever boxes under our TVs these days can keep up with new episodes pretty well, combined with regular visits to everyone’s favourite comprehensive Airdates website!
Besides three months is nothing. Just look at Person of Interest. Or Sons of Anarchy.

I have been looking to see if season 7 of Bones is going to be shown sometime in 2013, only started to watch it near end of last year through repeats and have been recording season 8 to watch when I finally see season 7. Cannot find any info as to when or if season 7 is to be repeated in 2013?
I know this is a bit late but on sky living every night it repeats all the seasons its on season 6 rite now so it should repeat season 7 in 2 weeks or so hope it helps
