New Trailer Arrives For ‘Once Upon A Deadpool’, Playing Tomorrow For One Night In The UK
A new trailer has arrived for ‘Once Upon a Deadpool’, the 15 rated remix of ‘Deadpool 2’, which sees Ryan Reynolds return as the merc with a mouth, along with… ‘The Wonder Years’ star Fred Savage?
The movie will be a version of ‘Deadpool 2’, but with the language and violence toned down, and a new wraparound story which will feature Savage, apparently strapped to a bed due to the kidnapping. In the latest trailer, Deadpool takes offence as Savage is critical of Canadian rock band Nickelback.
If you’ve missed the news of this, let’s say, interesting, new project, Reynolds explains how it came about. “Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006,” the star commented. “Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining…”
A portion of the proceeds from the film will go to the charity F*** Cancer… Or rather, “Fudge Cancer” as the movie has aptly renamed it to fit in with the “family friendly” vibe of the reimagined movie.
“While my participation in this film was anything but voluntary. I am happy to learn that Fudge Cancer will be the beneficiary of this shameless cash grab,” added Savage.
