‘Ray Donovan’ Renewed For Season 7 By Showtime

Ray Donovan will return for a 7th Season US network Showtime has announced today.

The drama, which is currently airing its 6th Season on Sky Atlantic in the UK, stars Liev Schreiber as celebrity fixer Ray Donovan – the go-to guy who makes the problems of celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls disappear. This season has seen some big changes, as Ray moved cross country from LA to New York… Not that switch really helped him escape his personal troubles or his family problems.

As Season 6 progresses, Ray’s journey in New York has been fueled by his subconscious need for help. After his life was saved by a Staten Island cop named Mac (Domenick Lombardozzi), Ray must navigate the complicated debts and emotions that grew out of that relationship while also trying to save the mayoral campaign of Anita Novak (Lola Glaudini), the favoured candidate of Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon).

On the family front, Mickey (Jon Voight) is on a mission to hunt down Ray to seek revenge and Ray struggles to cope after Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) tells him that she must break away from her father and the havoc his life has brought.

The series also stars Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey, Devon Bagby and Graham Rogers.

Ray Donovan‘ Season 7 will air late 2019, but Season 6 can be seen right now, Wednesday nights at 9pm on Sky Atlantic. The previous 5 seasons are also available On Demand.
